About

We are Cindy and Randy Conser and we moved to Hamilton, IN in May 2020. We thought it was a temporary move as we planned to buy land and build homes with two of our five daughters and son-in-laws. We rented a little crooked lakeview house from a friend and moved in with our three dogs, Eli, Alex, and Maggie. Not too long after moving in, we fell in love with the lake life and the people we met along the way. We decided we wanted to live in Hamilton permanently and bought the little crooked house.

 

We frequented Lakers Food & Spirits and got to know the owner, Jimmie. We began talking about how cool it would be to have a restaurant on the lake. We inquired on a couple properties but then found out that Jimmie was selling the restaurant and we knew this was the place we wanted and decided to take the leap. We appreciate Joe & Cathy Schaeffer for helping us with the purchase of the building so we could open the restaurant that we envisioned.

We decided to keep "Lakers" in the name of our restaurant to honor Jimmie and his family and with that, Lakers Landing Waterfront Casual Dining was born. We have done a complete remodel to the inside and have worked to create a warm, cozy, and patriotic place that we as customers would love to visit. Our future plans involve redoing the deck and enhancing our outside seating.

The Hamilton community is especially important to us. When we first moved to Hamilton we noticed all of the beautiful flowers and holiday decorations that added a magical touch to the town. We discovered that an organization called Hamilton Garden Club volunteers their time to beautify the town. We wanted to support their efforts and decided that $1.00 from each Garden Club Salad purchased will be donated to their organization.

 

We have had our challenges, but we are grateful for the support of the community as we continue to improve and become the top choice for dining in Hamilton, IN. The overwhelming support and people going out of their way to thank us means so much to us. We thank YOU and we appreciate YOU!
